If you are a composer who does not have the time (or would like to offload the work for other reasons) to spend doing the busywork of aligning dynamics, matching consistency across your work, making a title page, setting up the music for performers, etc., consider reaching out to me to make your score look professional and sleek! I regularly work with several amazing pro composers like Marie Douglas, Jessica Meyer, and retired Troy University faculty Carl Vollrath. Through these composers, music I have engraved has appeared on the stands of many of the United States premiere military bands.
I charge $25/hr, with a minimum $25 charge for all projects. I use a timer to log the exact amount of time I have actively spent working on an engraving project and work efficiently to get a full score and parts edited as quickly (and high quality!) as possible. Markings and text will be aligned, spacing will be pleasant to the eye, appropriate page turns will be made, a nice title page and program notes page will be created if requested, and any input from you will be worked on! I will be in active communication to show updates to make sure you are happy with your music.
As an estimate, small chamber group scores of about 10 pages takes around 5-6 hours of work to pretty up, including the parts. For large ensemble works, the cost usually breaks down to 1 score page/hour. I use Dorico and have an engraving workflow consistent across all of my projects (but, I can also match any style you request!).
